How did you feel about him joining the military so um just the background chases dad is in the army and my dad and my grandpa were in the Marine Corps so the military itself wasn't like scary to us it wasn't foreign so. We didn't I didn't have. That kind of like shock of like oh my gosh. You want to do. What that's so scary I'm so sad.
You know something that I was familiar with and like open to I was. More so surprised. That it was. Something chase was contemplating if. You knew them back then. You would probably agree. That it was such a surprise. That chase even was. Even considering it and you would have never expected the military to suit him as well as. It does now but once. I realized that it was. Something he was serious about it was. Something that he was really truly considering and it was an available option for him and he was eager and motivated to like work hard for it and to really like just to really truly consider. It as an option. It wasn't just like an idea.
That came to his head. It was an option. That he was really sitting down and analyzing and considering and so. That I was really proud of him and I was so eager and open to you know cheering him on and supporting him and encouraging him and I was actually the one who told him okay talk to all the recruiters find you know the good fit for you. Because he had kind of like his dad talking to him about the army my family talking to him about the Marine Corps and then. He just by his own research was like wanting to talk to the Air Force for a certain job and so.
He met with. All the recruiters and it was so sweet. He said like. I think you talked to an Air Force recruiter and their Marine recruiter. I don't know. You talked to an army or knew. That's because. He had his dad for the army and then the Navy. I don't think. Even a thought. That came into. It I don't know but he talked to the Air Force recruiter and he talked to the Marine Corps recruiter really. I think back to back and I remember. He came back to me he was like Marisa like yeah the airforce like fine. Whatever I feel like.
It suits me as the boy. That I am now but the Marine Corps will bring that man out of me. That I've always wanted to be and I want to be a marine and I will never forget. That he was like. I want to be a Marine and that makes. Me psyche look. Because it's just that's who chases.
