This channel as a way to document our marriage our travels and life in the military chase is currently in the Marine Corps were stationed out here in Southern California and we really really enjoy. It out here we're gonna be so sad.
When our time is up but for today. I wanted to go ahead and answer. Some questions from the military spouse tag. I thought this would be such a good way for you guys to get to know. Me better our story and kind of our journey so far so I'm gonna go ahead and jump right into. It and the first question is how did. You and your spouse meet so chase it's originally from Iowa I'm originally from Illinois but I grew up in Arizona and chase moved to Arizona our 8th grade year and we had the same history class together and that was.
We met and it's so funny. Because I could not stand him at first. I thought he was so annoying and we would always try and like battle. Each other out in class like who could get the best grade who could answer the most questions like. You know it's kind of like trying to outsmart. Each other and I think that's part of the reason why I did not like him he swears up and down but it was like love at first sight for him and he was so like starstruck by. Me and I could not stand him. How old were. You two met. We were 14 I think 14 yeah I'd say. We were about 14. How long have. You been together so about a year after.
We well we shared the same friend group. We actually shared the same best friend who ended up being Chase's best man at our wedding which I thought was so awesome. Because we share the same friend group chase and I actually became best friends like so. We were best friends from eighth grade. All the way until sophomore year which was a we began dating and so we've been together about six years. Now Wow we have been together it'll be six years in August which is so crazy to me obviously like. When you're in high school. You do have like breakups a couple of times. You know I think. We did have like two big breakups or one big breakup and then like. You know but yeah we've been together six years and that is so crazy to me.
